Spotlight: Without a win since July 2023; beaten 6l when favourite on latest at Gowran (7f, heavy); is now 10lb below last win and shaped like this trip might suit last October at Gowran but he prefers soft ground; watch the weather.
Spotlight: Sole win came on the beach at Laytown; sound effort in 1m1f Tipperary claimer (yld-sft) ten days ago, beaten 5l into second of 14 after missing the break; won't mind a drop of rain and could go well back in a handicap.
Spotlight: Has shown glimmers of ability; not a bad run on seasonal return and handicap debut at Navan (1m2f, good); never involved dropped back to 7f at Roscommon latest; could do better back up in trip and down in grade.
Spotlight: 0-13; yard amongst winners and this filly went close at Ballinrobe (9.5f, good) last June off 9lb higher; may have needed comeback and has a decent draw here; not dismissed.
Spotlight: Won four for John McConnell at 10.5f; sole turf win came on yielding to soft at Down Royal in September 2022; good effort at Sligo on second start for this yard last month; down 2lb but draw not ideal; each way chance.
Spotlight: 1-24 on turf; won at Dundalk (1m) in March and went close again there on penultimate over 10.5f; poor effort upped to 1m4f at Limerick latest; drop back in trip a plus and won't mind if it rains; Chris Hayes was on board for last win; not discounted.
Spotlight: 3yo improved on handicap debut at Dundalk (7f) in March when beaten 1.75l into fourth off 54; shaped like in need of further over 1m at Bellewstown latest; 3lb lower now and steps up in trip but has a wide draw to overcome.
Spotlight: Seven race maiden is 0-1 on turf but went close a couple of times on AW for former yard; lacks a run and best watched on stable debut unless the market speaks.
Spotlight: 3yo didn't show a lot in maidens and weakened over 7.5f on handicap debut at Roscommon last month; dropped 2lb and upped in trip but may need more time.
Spotlight: Second reserve; won on debut for this yard off 60 at Limerick last year; improved on recent form when sixth of 17 from wide draw over C&D latest but still beaten 11l; similar draw here and blinkers go on; needs more.
Spotlight: Gained first turf win at Cork (10.5f, good) on latest off 41 when a 25-1 shot; form franked by the third Deuteronomy; not guaranteed to back that up given his overall profile but not discounted off 3lb higher.
Spotlight: Runner up in two of three starts in Britain in 2022; didn't show enough on stable debut after mammoth layoff in first-time blinkers which are now replaced by cheekpieces; watch.
Spotlight: 1-30, the win coming in 2021 for former yard; not a bad effort on penultimate but well-beaten latest at Tipperary (12.5f, yld-sft); handicapper giving him a chance and could run into a place if in the mood.
Spotlight: 3yo sent off at long odds and no impact in three maidens and two handicaps; eased 5lb for 9l defeat on seasonal return; drops in grade and steps up in trip but much more needed.
Spotlight: Dual-puprose mare; last won in 2022; out of form in both codes since finishing second off 4lb higher at Naas last April; unseated when beaten over hurdles on seasonal return; well-drawn but others preferred.
Spotlight: Didn't show much in three maidens at Dundalk but not beaten that far on handicap debut there in March (10.5f); still early days and can do better but wide draw far from ideal on turf debut.
Spotlight: Rare Flat runner for yard; long odds and well-beaten in qualifying runs at 6f-7f on easy ground; this trip should suit on breeding and worth a market check on handicap debut.
Spotlight: 3yo showed modest form in maidens and sole handicap start; similar story on seasonal return in a Gowran claimer last month, her first run for this yard; hard to make a case for.

Together Aclaim got back to winning ways at Cork and should go well again if in the same mood, though that is not guaranteed. Rain would bring Asisaid into the equation and Kartayaz should be thereabouts if backing up his Sligo run but a chance is taken on DOLCE FAR NIENTE for in-form Joe Murphy. She went close off 9lb higher last season, she's nicely drawn and she should strip fitter for her last run. Master Garvey and the 3yo Blondina complete the short list. [Dave Stephens] Show less
